For some strange reason, since I’ve started this blog, people are extremely cautious around me? My mom said she was going to stop talking to me, l because I write about everything my family does. Of course, she was being funny, I think. My advice to them? Start your own blog, and you can write about me!
My sister has given me so much material over the years. It’s so much fun to write, and make fun of the little sister. She said the funniest thing the other day. She said, “As much as you write about me, I think you should change the name of the blog to Ripping Melissa A New One!” I cracked up!!
When it comes to writing about friends, I, at least have the decency to change their names….by one letter. I mean, I wouldn’t want people to know who’s deepest, darkest secrets I’m revealing. Geez, I’m not a monster. Besides, I share as much of my own dirty laundry, as I do of those I love. This is an equal opportunity airer of dirty laundry blog.
That being said, I just wanted to say that I’m so thankful for the people God has so graciously placed in my life; friends and family. He’s blessed me with so many great people, who give me so much great writing material 😊! God is so good!
I’m seriously humbled, and extremely thankful for those of you who read this blog. All jokes aside; anything good I happen to say, trust me, it’s ALL God. This blog is prayed over, and nothing I write is written haphazardly. Hopefully this blog is funny and entertaining. Most of all though, I hope it glorifies God.
That being said, please live, and speak freely around me! I’m always looking for new material!
Not to us, O Lord, not to us,but to your name goes all the glory for your unfailing love and faithfulness. Psalm 115:1
