Impaction. Enough Said.

Today’s blog will be short and sweet. #1 Tuck has court this morning so I have to be ready early. #2 I’M SLEEPY!

This week, let’s try and impact the life of another person. Let’s not be so focused on their sin that we miss out on an opportunity to show the love of Christ. Let’s not focus on preaching to them, or shoving the bible down their throats. Let’s live out what we believe, and allow the Holy Spirit to do His job. There’s a time and a place for “preaching” to a person. Let’s be listening attentively to the Holy Spirit’s prompting before we open our mouths. Sometimes we’re only meant to listen.

Let’s ask God for opportunities, in our environments, to tell of His love and what He’s done for us. Then, let’s do it! Let’s push pride, embarrassment, nerves, and fear aside and let God speak through us. If we all would just go get one more, think of the impact we could make for God’s kingdom!

“Teacher,” he asked, “which is the most important commandment in the Law?” Jesus replied, “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul. Love him with all your mind.’ (Deuteronomy 6:5) This is the first and most important commandment. And the second is like it. ‘Love your neighbor as you love yourself.’ (Leviticus 19:18) Everything that is written in the Law and the Prophets is based on these two commandments.” Matthew 22: 36-40
