Get That Fox Song Out Of My Head!!!!

Ok. So at this moment, I have the song What Does The Fox Say stuck in my head! Ugh! If that’s not one of the most stupid songs I’ve ever heard I’ll kiss your foot!! The funny thing is, everyone knows that song! They might not know what’s being said, but you can just about bet they’ve heard it.

Maybe, instead of singing beautiful, melodic worship songs at church, we should sing something catchy, that would get stuck in everyone’s head, like What Does The Fox Say does! Maybe we could come up with a parody to that tune called What Does Our God Say!!!! I bet people who say they don’t even believe in God would find themselves getting that song stuck in their heads! It might go something like this.

Catholics have priests, Holiness have snakes, and the baptist sit in pews. Some sprinkle, some they dunk, and some jump in the creek.
The Church of Christ, they play no tunes
and Church of God goes WHOOT WHOOT WHOOT!
But there’s one thing we all should know! What does our God say!!
LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE L-L-L LOVE! G-G GRACE GRACE GRACE GRACE GRACE GRACE GRACE GRACE! ST-ST-ST-STAY OUTTA HELL!
That’s what our God says!

See! It’s catchy huh? I bet if I finish writing it, our praise band will play it!
I’ll let y’all know. Stephen, if you’re reading this, I really believe God wants this to be heard at Oneeighty church. I’m just sayin’!

Seriously, it’s important, as followers of Christ, that we behave in a manner that people want to imitate. We want the things we do and say to get stuck in people’s heads. Maybe, if they like what they see and hear, it’ll eventually get stuck in their hearts! WHAT DOES OUR GOD SAY!! Sing it with me!

So imitate God. Follow Him like adored children, and live in love as the Anointed One loved you—so much that He gave Himself as a fragrant sacrifice, pleasing God. Ephesians 5:1-2
