How ’bout that global warming?! Whoo-wee! I tell you, it’s really stoking things up! It was a balmy 57 degrees when I got up this morning! In JULY!What a dang joke!!! Also while I’m ranting. All you tree hugging people, (and no, I don’t hate trees) who’ve allowed the government to convince you that we’re going to run out of God’s resources, um, No! We’re not! You’re wasting your time separating paper and plastic to put in that separate, little bin (which I’m pretty sure they charge you for). It goes in the same dump as the other trash. I’m just sayin’. It’s a money racket created by the government. Now, we are required to use everything God’s given us wisely and not be wasteful with anything!
It’s kind of like how they’ve demonized smoking, yet they’re making all sorts of money taxing the tobacco industry. Don’t get me wrong, I don’t like smoking. However, if a person wants to do it, the government should not have the right to tell them they can’t! Or that they can’t have too much sugar, or be fat. I’m just waiting for them to tax fat people! And I think we’ll be surprised at who they consider to be fat! I’m sure we’ll be weighed on the same scales that determines who’s rich! So those of us who think we’re just a little fat, and those of you who have lots of muscle but have a high BMI, had better watch out! I’m also just sayin’.
Ok. I apologize for the rant. Well, that’s not exactly true. I mean, yes, I did apologize, but I didn’t mean it. So, I’m sorry for apologizing and not meaning it. That one was sincere. 🙂 This stuff just gets to me. We’re sitting back allowing the government to slowly, and underhandedly take away our rights; especially those of us who are Christians! It’s scary! A lot of you may have seen this video, but if you haven’t, take the time to watch it. It’s eerie!
You may as well know this too, Timothy, that in the last days it is going to be very difficult to be a Christian. For people will love only themselves and their money; they will be proud and boastful, sneering at God, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful to them, and thoroughly bad. They will be hardheaded and never give in to others; they will be constant liars and troublemakers and will think nothing of immorality. They will be rough and cruel, and sneer at those who try to be good. They will betray their friends; they will be hotheaded, puffed up with pride, and prefer good times to worshiping God. They will go to church,[a] yes, but they won’t really believe anything they hear. Don’t be taken in by people like that. 2 Timothy 3:1-5
