I hope everyone enjoyed the trip to Lunch-lady Land yesterday! I know I did. When it seems as if there are so many bad things going on, it’s so nice to see/hear that God is still speaking! He’s still moving! And He’s still working! We can bank on that! Our God’s not dead, He’s surely alive! Ok, now that I’ve grossly overused some exclamation points I can move on!
This has been an exciting week. A girl who was going to give her baby up for adoption has changed her mind! PTL! I ask that you pray for this young lady and her precious daughter, as they face many challenges. I’ve seen God show up and show out this week. For each bad thing I’ve seen or heard about, I’ve seen or heard just as much good. And the one thing the Holy Spirit keeps reiterating to me is this… JUST LOVE ON PEOPLE AND I’LL TAKE CARE OF THE REST!
No bickering and fussing. No pointing fingers and accusing. Simply showing kindness whenever possible. Don’t take this the wrong way! We have an obligation to call sin “sin”. It’s never good to excuse or accept sin, but there’s always never an excuse not to love! That being said, there are those who are easier loved from afar! Way far! In my humble opinion, sometimes loving a person means earnestly praying for a person. Geez, we ain’t got to hug everyone! Oh, and just for the record, don’t ever mistake gentleness, kindness or meekness for weakness! A godly person is allowed, and should stand up for themselves and theirs! Not to mention, just because you view a person as godly doesn’t mean they’re not human! Make one of “us” mad enough and we can snap like a twig! We’ll rip you a new one in Jesus’ name faster than you can say hallelujah! Especially a Christian woman! Mess with one of hers and watch out! She is not afraid to pray down fire! And by “pray down fire” I mean she’ll light you up, then pray for your healing! HOWEVER, other than if you make one of us mad? We’re extremely loving folks!!! 🙂
I hope y’all have a great day and PLEASE try to love people today!
Go ahead and be angry. You do well to be angry—but don’t use your anger as fuel for revenge. And don’t stay angry. Don’t go to bed angry. Don’t give the Devil that kind of foothold in your life. Ephesians 4:26-27 MSG
